Return Policy

At Medi-HealthCare, our goal is to ensure that you always select the right product for your needs. However, you may occasionally receive a product that does not work for you. If you need to return an item, please review our Return Policy below and submit an online Return Authorization Request to Customer Service.

Return Policy

Most items may be returned within 30 days of receipt to qualify for a refund. They must be returned at the customer's expense in their original packaging and meet the following conditions:

  • Product must be in new condition - no cracked, scratched, or dirty products will be accepted. 
  • Product must be returned in its original packaging. 
  • Return Authorization must be requested from Medi-Healthcare within 30 days of delivery of the product.
  • Once return approval has been received, products must be returned within 14 days.

There are certain products that are custom-made by the manufacturer and are non-returnable. These include:

  • Ultralightweight or custom wheelchairs
  • Sport wheelchairs
  • Handcycles
  • Lift Chairs
  • Heavy-duty wheelchairs
  • Open-Box Items
  • Customizable support braces and orthotics

For hygienic reasons, the following products are non-returnable*:

  • Bath safety equipment
  • Mattresses
  • Socks, compression stockings, braces, supports, orthotics, or traction equipment
  • Ostomy Supplies
  • Urological Supplies
  • Breast Feeding Equipment

*Other restrictions may apply regarding other supplies or equipment; please contact us if you have any questions.

Medi-HealthCare will allow returns of orthotics supports and other custom-fit items only if the device is deemed manufactured incorrectly.

At this time, we cannot accept returns on orthotics supports that have been worn because they cannot be sanitized for future use.

Due to health regulations, sanitary and safety concerns, merchandise that has come into direct contact with the human body or has been worn cannot be returned or exchanged. Therefore, socks, compression stockings, etc. can not be returned or exchanged. Make sure you have the right size and item you need before ordering.

PLEASE NOTE: All returnable products require a minimum of 20%  of the purchase price as a restocking fee

You may also call us at 1-863-686-0300 or email us at Customer Service to request an RA number or alternative return information. Please include your order number, name, and the item number you are returning. 

PLEASE NOTE: Products returned without an RA number or alternative return approval will not be credited. To receive full credit, items must be shipped within 14 days from the day the return authorization and shipping information is provided by Medi-HealthCare.

Return Shipping

Unless Medi-Healthcare made an error, return freight is the customer's responsibility. We highly recommend insuring larger items for their retail value to protect against shipping damage.

Please be sure to carefully follow all return-shipping instructions that we provide for you. If an item is returned to the wrong address, Medi-HealthCare reserves the right to charge for any additional shipping fees associated with shipping the item to the correct location. In addition, if a scheduled pickup with a delivery carrier is missed, Medi-HealthCare may institute a $10 fee per missed scheduled pickup.

Cancelled Orders

Orders cancelled after the item has shipped are subject to all standard return policies. You must accept delivery, obtain return information, and ship the item back to the correct address. If delivery of an item is refused, return shipping costs are deducted from the issued credit and a 25% restocking fee (minimum $25) will apply. Second-Day and Next-Day shipping costs will not be credited if delivery is refused.


Once your return is received, Medi-Healthcare will issue a credit to the credit card used for the purchase. Please allow up to 3 weeks for your credit to be issued.  If you paid by check or money order, we will issue a check within 30 days.
